I have been working as a casting assistant off and on since I got back home from the holidays. As of last week, though, I am officially working on a movie once again, Charlie Wilson's War.
It's great to be working full time again. I'm still hoping to take an improv class in March and hopefully that won't mess up my schedule.
Basically, I'm a casting assistant to Specialty Casting. We need to find 1,000 Afghani's or Middle Easterners to play Afghan Refugees from the Afghan conflict in the late 80's. We've already had some open casting calls and plan on having more. It's a fun project to work on.
